Doc3™ is a browser-based AI translation solution and CAT tool with a Full Auto translation mode. It lets you automatically translate entire documents incl. blilingual files to near-perfect quality in any language with AI and MT, and optionally edit them in a full-featured CAT tool if needed. It combines automatic document translation with editing, translation memory, glossary, and real-time QA.
Which file formats are supported in Doc3™?
Doc3™ supports translation and editing of Trados (.sdlxliff), memoQ (.mqxliff), MS Office files (.docx, .xlsx, .pptx), and OpenOffice formats, along with direct bilingual text imports and exports, .TXT, and .XML. Translation memories and glossary files are supported as well.
Is Doc3™ free to use?
Doc3™ offers a volume-limited use with full access to all features. After the limit is hit, you can continue with the Unlimited plan at only $15/month, which includes unlimited AI translation and projects as well as all the extended functionality.
What is Full Auto mode?
Full Auto mode instantly translates entire documents to near-final quality using Doc3’s AI translation engine and large language models.
How many languages does Doc3™ support?
Hundreds of languages are supported for direct AI translation, covering both technical and general content.
Does Doc3™ integrate with DeepL or Google Translate?
Yes. Doc3™ connects via API to major MT engines including DeepL, Google Translate, and Microsoft Translator, while also using its own proprietary MT engine.
How secure is Doc3™?
All projects and translation memories are stored in a private cloud environment hosted within the EU, compliant with GDPR and professional confidentiality standards.
Can I manage translation memories and glossaries in Doc3™?
Yes. Doc3™ includes online TM and glossary management, allowing reuse and consistency across projects.
What is CrossCheck® real-time QA?
CrossCheck® checks punctuation, numbers, tags, glossary terms, consistency, and much more—spotting even small errors while you edit.
How can I cancel a Doc3™ subscription?
To terminate an account (free or paid), send a notification email to notify@doc3.com, stating your user-ID and clearly stating in English that you want to cancel your account and/or subscription.
For a paid subscription, cancellation is done via the Cancel feature in Account Settings.
If you cancel before the end of your current subscription period (e.g. monthly), the service continues until that period ends; the subscription simply doesn’t renew.
After the subscription ends (or account is terminated), user data will be deleted after one month.
Users are urged to download all private data before cancellation because deleted data cannot be restored by re-activating.
Can I pre-translate with TM in Doc3™ and then fill gaps with MT?
Yes, the pre-translation process runs TM and glossary first, with optional MT for remaining segments.
Can I export a memory after finishing a project in Doc3™?
Yes, you can export translated text back to the original format and receive a new memory file.

The connector is included; DeepL usage itself follows your DeepL plan. DeepL API Free allows up to 500,000 characters/month.
